I took these while hiking with my wife earlier this week. Criticism is always welcome.

Very nice work. I particularly like #3.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Thanks, Denise. I'm surprised that y'all like that one but I'm always the worst judge of my own photos. :)

3 for the win (abundance), and the green plants in the middle help the composition greatly. 2 is the runner up (simple direction of flow). While the first is a very tranquil scene, the water flows out the bottom in somewhat general way and towards the viewer. I tend to like seeing water flowing somewhere from L to R corners to lower opposite corners. But that's just me, perhaps.

    Great work Don! Love it!

I looked at 3 half dozen times based on love it got above.......not seeing it....
To me it is squeezed with horizontal lines both up and below......and bunch of distracting element on left, bottom and right edges.....and water doesn't have that pristine shine that others do....bit greyish muddy....you might want to brush it over with desaturation+highlight brush.....

Other 2 are wall hangers....pure art!

    Cheers!

I appreciate the comments, Taz. It would be a dull world if we all had the same tastes!

The water was more turbid in the third shot. I'm not sure why. I'll give some consideration to revising that one.

Ok, I prefer #1 although I would like to see more contrast.

Dan, Thanks. Cristobal, I increased the contrast a little in response to your suggestion and liked it better.

I also reworked the third one with Taz's comments in mind. Critiques definitely help.

(PS: I haven't substituted the revised versions here.)
