Action on click = Go to Gallery

I have multi-image content blocks on my home page, with "Action On Click" set to "Go To Gallery". I'm pretty sure that used to do what I expected: open the gallery. But now I notice it first opens the gallery, then after a second, opens a lightbox for the clicked image. It's jarring, not what I want, and really no different from "Open Lightbox".

Is this a bug, or just the way it is?

The “Go to Gallery” shouldn’t be opening the lightbox. Would you mind providing a link as an example so I can dive further (you can also private message me the link if you don’t want to publicly post it)?

Sebastian, one of our Customer Support heroes reminded me that this can occur if there’s a gallery style being used that can’t jump to the location of the photo within the gallery, for example in a collage or thumbnail style. The only way to jump to the photo in the gallery in these styles is by opening the lightbox.

If your intention is to link people to specific galleries, you could try the “Multiple Galleries” content block and set the gallery’s Feature Image to the image you want the viewer to see.

Yes that's it, thanks - it happens with the collage style. Dsappointing, as I like that style, but to use it I'd have to redo the home page again. I'd call this a bug, maybe it can be addressed at some point.
