A tribute to Bob.

Bob is a GBH that lives near the Nimbus Dam near Sacramento, CA. He can be found in the same spot every day and can be approached easily. He appears fearless of people. The Rangers at the fish hatchery there have named him Bob.

Bob? I thought Bob was the guy in the deep end of the swimming pool without any arms or legs. eek7.gif :uhoh That was bad.

Nice shots, Steve. Bob's a nice looking bird. Just don't let him steal your camera. thumb.gif

    Hey Steve,

Excellent shots. Its always nice to have a posing GBH. We have an older one at the wetlands who we call "the Mayor". He, like Bob, is very tolerant of humans and you can get to within a few feet of him unless he's eating.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thank you for your comments Mike, Jeff and Harry.

Jeff- I had to drive to Sacramento to find this guy and it was in the 60's as well there, so I don't think he will be coming your way soon. :D
