I haven't had too much time to really browse in the past few months and I just took the time to carefully look through the past two pages - some really interesting and lovely images! @GSPeP Peter, I enjoyed the story of the bread being strewn from the town hall!

Last summer we made our first visit to Spain and among the wonderful sights we saw was the Cathedral in Seville, the third-largest church in the world and the largest gothic church. Although perhaps not my very favorite church amongst all those I've visited, it was quite imposing. Here are a few impressions:

    1) Just a small corner of the outside

    2) The side entrance (where you buy your tickets...)

    3) High arches, small humans

    4) Details

    5) The ceilings are also ornately decorated

    6) Christopher Colombus' tomb

San Esteban, Salamanca, Spain, spent a couple of very peaceful and rejuvenating hours here:

    1) Frontage, the last part of the church to be completed, in 1610:

    2) Main nave:

    3) Sacristy - this is a fully operational and functioning church:

    4) The King's Cloister, finished in 1544:
