Kaaterskill Creek

PhotoDavid78PhotoDavid78 Registered Users Posts: 939 Major grins

This section of Kaaterskill Creek in the Catskill Mountains, lies at the base of Kaaterskill Falls in Hunter, NY. I slipped on the moss, fell over, hurt my wrist and got filthy and wet for this shot. Hope you enjoy

Beautiful. Sometimes we suffer for our art. I hope your wrist is feeling better.

Thank you David. My understanding is that this creek is usually fuller and flowing with more power but due to a low rainfall, it left the area with pools of water and exposed rock. Worked out for me!

I really like this one. I've looked at it several times, and I always get distracted by the large granite stone in the stream, at the top. If it were mine, I would try and darken the top of that stone, so that it faded into the background, or crop the top of the stone out of the image.
    Just my 2 cents.
