Very early Campy Record, though that rear derailleur isn't part of the original grouppo - something of a later lower end group from the late 70's. I forget the grouppo name, but it wasn't long lived. And later Shimano Look-style pedals, of course. But that is expected to ride with today's shoes.
Something struck me odd, as I don't remember the early Colnagos ever sporting a braze-on fitting for front derailleurs. I'm guessing the frame, if it really is that old, might have gone in for repairs or an update to add that. If it was crashed, and repaired, it would have made sense for the owner to tell the frame repairer to add that if it needed to be repainted anyway.

I just showed this to my partner who viewed it with a fond tear in his eye. From the mid-70's to late 80's he had almost exactly the same bike (he had bought it used), including the color. (His had DuraAce shifting) He has many fond memories of that bike, from rides up Alpine passes to a 1-week, 1000 km tour in Sicily.

It's fun how things like this can bring back such fun memories. For me, it's the nostalgia of late 80's and early 90's mountain biking that brings all the feels. My friend recently gave me tour of a collection here in Boulder and wow. I'll post some pics below shortly.

Nope, it's part of a private collection at the Pro's Closet here in town. Some of it is owned by the owner of Pro's, but the bulk apparently is owned by a collector from Singapore. The Hall of Fame has apparently moved to Marin which I didn't know. Was formerly in Crested Butte (great town if you haven't been!) and I wanna say Durango at some point too.
Sometimes the journey is paused by obstacles... on a ride through the forest a couple of weeks ago, I was glad to be riding my light "analog" bike and not my heavy e-bike.
Pretty stoked! I ordered a new Ibis Hard Tail mountain bike.

Might be a couple of weeks before it arrives. Surprisingly enough, the shop I've been working through has been crazy busy and selling and repairing bikes! We're all locked down and bicycle sales are up!
