How do I enter tags and how do I edit a post?

I just created a discussion in the SmugMug support page. I entered three words in the Tags section and saved my post. But it appears the three words are considered a single tag because I did not put in a separator of any kind. How am I supposed to enter tags so that they are handled separately? Also, I tried to find a way to go back in and edit my post, but I didn't see one. How do I edit a post?

Click on the gear icon at the top right of any post you have made. There's an edit option there. Make sure you hit save when you're done.
As for tags, I don't use them myself so I don't know whether there is a separator character--it looks like comma, space and semi-colon don't work. What does seem to work is entering them one at a time with repeated clicks on the gear in the discussions display. Seems kind of dumb, I know, but it does seem to work. Maybe someone else knows what the magic character is.
