Real nice work, Rags. That #2 is out of this world good.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

good action shots caught at peak moments. What is super hard is to shot kite surfers and get both the kite and the surfer both in the frame. I used an ultra wide lens then cropped. I like #1 and #4 best. On the west coast, the girls had to wait for their guys. ( But not all ). Some of the girls were as good or better!

    Have a great day!

    Thanks for the kind comments...

Girls can be better... :D ....

I used to want to get the kite in same frame... but you lose the surfer & get unwanted landscape around him...

I couldn't get the kite in this one...

Great set! I've shot Wind Surfers and Kiteboarders a couple of times in the Columbia River Gorge, reputed to be world class area for these two sports.
Fun to watch these guys, and gals riding the wind and waves.

I don't know where I'm going, but I'm going anyway.

    Thanks Tom

The wind surfer is an optical illusion...

For years I struggled to get the feel of motion when there is no relative background...

the original shot had the sharp surfer hanging in thick-air; didn't look natural...

I took a duplicate back portion of the surfer layer - put some motion blur on it and put it in front of the surfer...

Leaving the front half sharp - the rear part motion...

The brain must unconsciously not see it's a two part photo and defines it as motion...

    Works for me...

Works real well for me. That surfer appears to have just been shot out of the wave.

    Rags...

Wow, great set. I like the action and colors.

The last image..the golden colors are wonderful and catching the surfer in mid-flight is excellent.👍🏼 I now have proof that there is such a thing as a sky-hook. 🤔

    Well done Rags!

Love the sense of action and speed in #2. All really good, but #2 is outstanding.
