Many cup fungi have passed through the genus Peziza. This one remains.

This species is associated with horse dung. We found it next to a bridleway frequently used by horse riders.

The shots with leaves are faked habitat setups.

Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, 1/60 at f9 ISO 250, hand-held.

Olympus EM-1, (manual mode), Olympus 4/3 50mm macro, f11 ISO 250 twin flash, hand-held.

The stereos are crosseye.
