Love #2 Gato! It is special! I have been there twice, never saw it this way! It it zoom shot?
The bottom rocks have some super bright areas. They are good as is. Maybe slight dimming down by brushing super bright areas might improve it?
Last one is nice and simple too.
First one is caught between trying to capture too many things.

    Taz....

Yes #2 is a zoom shot

The first shot (#1) is a tad bit busy, I agree. Probably should have backed off some on the wide angle zoom.

    Thanks for your C & C Taz!!

I like no 1 and have no trouble figuring out the subject.

I like no 3 as well.

I keep feeling that #1 needs more headroom. #2 is nice but that sky is, at least on my monitor, a weird shade of blue. I look at #3 and I think of a 3-level layer cake with a cheery stuck on it. Just kidding. Good shot.

I enjoyed seeing these. The color in the third one is remarkable. I concur that the framing in the first one doesn't quite work.

Thank you everyone for your comments. They are all certainly appreciated!

Here is another shot of my earlier post #1 image. No zoom here and just a slightly different positioning and angle.

Much better, Gato. The image feels complete now.

    Thanks Tom.

I feel better about this one also.

Should have gone with this one first and not the more restrictive, tight shot, original image.

I agree. Still my favorite is the one with the La Sal mountains in the back.

I like both 1 and 4, very different fotos.

I enjoy the re-do of number 1. I'm partial to a good sunburst.
