    Nice shots, Will. It's a beautiful car. I would suppose that it has undergone a complete restoration at some point. You can bet that it's been superbly maintained if he's still racing it some. The first car I could call mine ( actually, it was my oldest brother's car who was off flying in the Korean War ) was a 1952 MG TD. I had a lot of fun in it but proper maintenance was an absolute requirement. Even then, the Lucas electrical system could strike quicker than a cobra. All the car guys referred to the Lucas systems as " The Prince of Darkness ".

    I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Because Lucas makes the refrigerators.
    I know many tales from those who owned and/or drove old MG's, my son being one. Drove it like crazy.
    VSCCA has quite a few and I see them frequently at events. The above is a particularly nice one.
