NAS drive or Normal HDD for internal PC use
I am looking to add a second internal HDD to my PC for photo/video storage. while searching I came across NAS HDDs which are more durable and can run 24 x7 use. My use is not extensive nor I don't see myself in need of 24x7 access to my photo and video data, I just turn on my PC once a week for editing photos, and rarely for the whole day. I don't see myself spending on the dedicated NAS enclosure in near future (i have 2 TB WD MyBook for external data backup which I do every few months). Now should I go for regular 4TB WD green, or 2 TB WD RED NAS, Toshiba 4TB NAS is also available for the same price.
