Setting up Google Webmaster Tools

I am having a hell of time getting my domain verified. I try to log into Go Daddy but it says my account is non existent. It would appear that there is a difference between Go Daddy Account and Smugmug powered by Go Daddy. Anyone run into this? Apparently there is a way to add something to the HTML or something as a way to verify, but I am not sure how. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
