I took these pictures for the air thread. what do they have to do with air? not much. notta. but thats the beauty of interpretation.

and the beauty of digital cameras. film is dead. digital pictures are different. its that simple.

air.

I like the way my bike looks with the tank bags on it. even sitting still in the cold garage with a battery tender plugged in it, cold and dusty, dormant for months, it looks like its cutting thru air. to me anyway.

if it doesn't look that way to you, I don't really care.

I thought I'd take a few menacing pictures of my Smugmug hat and wotk it into the air theme.

note the bicycle suspended in the air. by a nail.

stretch the arm a little farther and the air increases and the focus on the bike gets a little sharper but I'm not as pretty.

point the camera down to use the controls to turn the flash off and you notice a nicely composed shot of one PIAA suspended in air. again. this shot doesn't happen with film. I'm forwarding a copy to the Met.

the playoffs are on. the Buds are cold. I microwave a can of Bush's baked beans and sit in front of the electric heater. Fuel oil bills and riding in sub 45 degree's are for other people. notflug.

Flug, you're a weenie. I rode the scooter, yes the 50cc scooter, for over an hour yesterday... in a sweatshirt. And today, I rode the GS for about the same... wait for it...

    with Tara on the back.

    No excuses. Wimp.

T says to tell you it was warm enough for her bathing suit yesterday, and do you need another blankie?

    1. If I had Tara on the back I might have been persuaded.
    2. If Tara had a bathing suit on yesterday, today, or any other day, I'd love to see it.
    3. Yes another blankie would be nice.

Tttthats 2.2C ! I once rode from Melbourne to Taroom one winter, about a 22 hour ride ..it got down to 4c (40f) out on the Newell Hwy in central NSW at midnight so i stopped ....light a fire & sat there for the night shivering.

You never forget the bad nights.
