Florida Wildlife Shoot - My Favorites

I just finished editing & post processing most of my shots. I was only able to stay for the first two days, but they were productive ones. Over all I had a great time shooting with the other Dgrinners and some very nice folks from the Nikon Cafe site. Here are a few of my favorites. These are from Merritt Island NWR, the Vierra wetlands and the Orlando wetlands. Many thanks to Harry for setting this up.

rolleyes1.gif Very nice series of shots, Thomas. thumb.gifthumb.gif Sounds like you had fun. I only stayed for 2 days also, but wish I could have made a week of it. There are some wonderful places to shoot on the "Space Coast". Cudos to Harry for setting this up. clap.gif You got the PP done quickly. I'm afraid I'll be doing this for the next month or two. The Bokeh is wonderful. What lens were you using?

Excellent series. That is one of the best shots of an anhinga I have seen. Lovely light.
I like the long exposure of the alligator too.

    The 300 2.8 + @x TC is sweet on a 20D isn't it??!!

    Harry done good, didn't he!!

Thanks Path. It's had to beat that early morning light. I enjoyed meeting you and yours last week. Harry did a great job organizing everything & all of the shooting locations were super. Can't wait 'til next year.

Excellent pics Thomas. My favs were the gator and the tri-colored heron (its not a blue the tri-coloreds have the white underbelly). It was great meeting you and shooting with you.

Thanks Trish & Harry. I enjoyed meeting and shooting with both of you. Harry, I knew it wasn't a great blue, but figured it must be a blue something, I stand corrected.
