I already posted this photo for my challenge entry:

But I'm having second thoughts. This one keeps growing on me.

Maybe someone could tell me which one they like better? Or neither? The first one is a rag and the second is a lamp shade.

    I see your dilemma,
I like them both! I keep looking at both, I'll look more later. Good luck choosing!

the second one's better - but i'm not sure about the drip (?) in the centre. is that the subject? it's too distracting and for the purpose of 'two colours', it's irrelevant.

It's actually the small lightbulb in the lamp. I hadn't even noticed it, really... but it's fixed now. That's what forums like this are for. Thanks, guys.

although now that I know it's there, I can see where you've cloned it.

At first I thought that number one was good and that number two was also good but much more interesting. I think what makes number two interesting is the fact that you don't see what it is and that it slices the frame diagonally. Number one prettier, number two more interesting.

I'd say go for beauty, it lasts longer.

I think the second one speaks to the challenge better.
