Highlands of Scotland (12 photos)

Some pictures taken on Saturday on a trip to Mallaig, North West Highlands. I used a circular polariser on all the pictures and a ND grad on some. Due to a lack of time all the pictures were hastily taken - no tripod and camera set on auto aside from a bit of bracketing a stop either side for some.

Ideally I would have liked more time to experiment with other angles and also to set up the tripod etc, but such is life.

Some lovely shots, Froggie. There's something magical about the light in your first piccie. I know what you mean about being in a hurry.

Very nice!!! The lighting is wonderful in these. I like the shots of the church and the shed. Learning to take time to use a tripod is the most difficult lesson for me! I guess it's what separates the pros from the rest of us....
