Thanks I was like a kid in a candy store with the low lying fog slowly lifting from the low lying areas.

I particularly like this shot even though it has a slight infestation of purple fringing. http://members.shaw.ca/emailtotim/Surreal.JPG

For a rank beginner like me it was a fun morning.

So bazaar.. as its 80f when i get up to run to work at 5 am & so humid that as you are using the towel after a shower in the morning, you are sweating faster than you can dry off. I really got to go have a look at snow.

Is that purple fringing or lens flare?

Yes a small shallow man made lake located in Fish Creek Provincial Park.

The park encompasses 1348 hectates and three different natural regions, grasslands
,parkland, and foothills forests. Fish Creek is one of the biggest urban parks in North America. It is a literal stones throw from my backyard.

It is approx. 19 kilometers long and 3-5 Kilometers wide

Oh yeah a big "doh" to the Flaring vs Fringing I am flare.. er farely new to this.

    Cheers
