I have only just started using my new digi camera and am very excited by the super macro function!
This is a shot of a couple of mating "stink bugs" (col: because they smell really bad when squashed). I think they are called Harlequin Bugs .....

    You guys are a very friendly lot! thanks for making me feel welcome! (had a bit of trouble learning how to use the site, but i'm slowly managing to find my way around!) I'm from South Australia, live in the Adelaide HIlls. Where did you live?

    We were in Sydney for a while, West Wyalong (bush) and Quirindi NSW.. we were managing motels for a chain so we were all over ... that was a while ago...:D
