20d update firmware

    yes, i just installed it no problem. i had 1.02, and no lockup issues but went with the 1.05 upgrade so that i'm fresh and current.

    no worries, it's really a cinch to update the firmware.

    I too had no problems with the 1.0.5 update. The whole 1.0.4 killing cameras was scary. I had only had 2 lockups, both after changing lenses, and both easily remedied by removing and reinserting the battery. As such I was not eager to try a new firmware and waited for the dust to settle.

    And it seems that it has.

    never had any problems... but wanted the extra cf updates so my camera would work better witrh more cf cards.

    1.02 to 1.05 just like they said no problems.
