Good job! I went to the beach last Sunday and had a heck of a time trying to get a clear unblured photo of a co-workers dog. I need a lot of practice to get the fast draw focus down pat.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Very nice series. What did you do to keep te exposure under control? I always fighting with the very strong and bright Arubian sun.

Thanks Dick.. well.. it was really hard. I took a lot of shots and most of them did'nt work. I stopped my rebel down one stop and took most of them at 2.8 but there were so many that did'nt work. I took most of these with my sigma 24-70 (which I love) all my 200 mm canon shots looked like hell.. all blurred and faded out...
I also took them all in raw so that I could up the exposure a little and mess with the contrast etc...

thanks all for your comments :D

Beautiful doggie pics. I have seen these events before, and next time, I'm going to spend the day there with my camera. Can't go wrong with dog, and kids. Thanks for sharing.

Ooh, I love the first one, Lynnie. The dog is so detailed and elegant, and the background blur really sets it off. Very tasty.
