Tree Swallows?

Sorry for the bad photos. I think they are swallows...but tree swallows? They swoop around the yard like jet fighters in a dog fight and have pointy wings.

And this guy and his girl are nesting in my clematis vine growing on the wall of my house. Also have robins in the shrub and bluebirds in my bluebird house :)

    Looks like a tree swallow to me..How lucky you are and Blue Birds as well!

    When we lived in an apartment we had barn swallows that built a nest in the overhang on our patio. They built the nest out of mud they scooped up fromt he lake in their mouths. One mouthful at a time. I felt bad when I saw them building it because I knocked their nest from the year before down when I thought it was a wasp nest. They are a blue bird with a bright gold breast. They hatched 5 or 6 eggs the summer that we were there. It was fun watching them grow up and learn to fly. And momma and poppa kept the bugs away from our patio all summer to boot.
