Dennis, that is a nice photo! I love the "long horns"! And the look in his eye!

The only thing I wish is that the shadow weren't there from the horn, but hey, you got the photo!

    I do like it!

Hello Ginger, thanks for the comment on this image I'm glad that you liked this image. The shadow is one thing that I can get by with, but it was the eye of the sheep that I found striking in this image.

    Regards

Nice shot, Dennis. Now there is something I don't see in the backyard or neighbor's tree. :uhoh thumb.gif

Thanks for your comment on this image. You are right this is nothing we have here in Toronto, and this was my first ever visit out west. One thing is this area is meant for photographers.

    Regards.

Thanks for your comment on this image. I really like this one, and I think it's the sheeps eye that does it for me.

I agree about the eye, but the texture on that one horn is also way cool. What lens did you use/how close was he?

Great shot, Dennis. He looks like a tough, rough old sheep who doesn't put up with you-know-what. Love the eye contact. Might be a candidate for the "Rough" challenge with his rough horns and even rougher-tougher attitude!

This was taken with the Canon 100-400mm IS L Lens, and I was about 30 to 40 feet away from this guy.

    Thanks for the comment.

Saurora, thanks for the comment on this image. I was watching this guy very close just in case. But he just sat there enjoying the sun, and chewing away.

    Thanks again

Thanks for the comment on this image, I think this was the Minnewanka road but not 100% sure as I was not driving at the time.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks for the comment on this image, that golden color was mainly from the sun coming down and I think that it added a nice touch to the over all image.

    Thanks again
