Photographed a new one today, a Clarks Grebe

These are the juvenile redtails I've been watching for the past few weeks. There were three of them, from smallest to largest I named them Larry, Curly and Moe. Curly is gone. Too small to fly away, I suspect the worst. Larry and Moe are doing fine. Moe should be ready to fly very, very soon. I spend hours at the nest, I'm hoping to see it. From left to right, here's Moe and Larry

And here's the *Bonus BIF*, just for Harry. A Brewers Blackbird

Very nice Rich and I do appreciate the bonus BIF shot. O know with egrets that very often the two older hatchlings will push the younger hatchling out of the nest.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

As always, Harry, the pleasure is all mine.

That's what I figured, the nest is getting awful small. Thing is, Curly wann't the smallest one. Still, I looked under the nest for Curly, but couldn't find him. Something must have came along and dragged him away. I'll tell you Harry, I hate to admit it, but I got awful attached to these guys. I spend hours a day at the nest, they're my friends. It's a real shame that they all didn't make it.
