how do i shoot 'at an angle'?

I went out with the intention of not shoot horizontal horizons, these aren't a by-product of too much beer :D .

Some work & some don't I can't figure out a common rule. :scratch

I reckon this works, just.
(bearing in mind this is the most boring bridge in the world)

So you turn a pretty boring shot...

into a slightly less boring one...

...it has the advantage of filling the frame better...

and I really don't think this one works but I can't figure out why.

    The ones that work use leading lines into the shot.

    The ones that don't are just angled pictures. Generally when the lines start at a corner and go to the center its more pleasing to the eye.

    You got the right idea of doing it while shooting the shot. You can also do it in PS later.

    Keep working at it. I like the bridge shot and the second shot of the steps.thumb.gif
