If you have seen anything I have posted to date then you know I suck at color correction. How's the color on these look?

rolleyes1.gifdon't worry, I thought you were serious-and I happen to agree-but doesn't that mean it's a compliment? Why would I leave? Sarcasm? Hmmm... that would be a bit harsh. No worries.

Just to be clear... my comments were intended to express my admiration of her beauty and your photography; I'm not trolling for dates on the Internet... especially not from woman so unfortunately located as Houston! (oh, snap... I got you :D)

    Careful now .....

There are some Texans (and Texas expatriates) who might take offense to statements like that.

OK, ya got me! But I wasn't trying to say you couldn't "get" her (you look pretty good in your pic) but that she lives in Texas and would not be likely. Maybe I should just give up trying to be funny (I'm failing miserably) and stick to posting pics of the pretty people.
Houston is not so bad, we have got some hotties down here (please ignore any mention you might have heard of Houston being the 2nd fattest city).

I've actually heard many nice things about your city. In fact, I know a beautiful, young Polish woman who, last I heard, is still living there. Though she preferred her homeland Poland, she had nothing but nice things to say about your city.

As for the joking... it's a tough line to take, because apologizing always kills humor, but on an open forum you can never tell what the reaction is going to be. About all you can count on is that somebody, somewhere, will be offended. I'll make jokes in person that are fairly edgy, but that's when I know my audience AND can gauge a reaction.

You are also limited in delivery. For example, what do you call a Mexican with a rubber toe?

    Roberto.

You see? Not funny at all, and yet with proper timing and a well rolled 'r' that can really catch someone off guard and get a laugh.

SO, you have to go for jokes that don't require a specific delivery and that are almost impossible to take seriously. For example, my car was recently towed, but until then it served as a rolling library for people in traffic. Among the titles (bumper stickers):

    Biographical
    "I'd rather be driving."

    Religious
"I found Him. Jesus is in my trunk."
    "Atheism is a Non-Profit Organization."

    Romance
"If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular?"

    Business
"Lipton Tea employees don't take coffee breaks!"

    Holiday
"Santa is jolly primarily because he knows where the bad girls live."

(oh yes, and always apply the age-old comedic principle of thievery... I've been ripping off Carlin material here)

[edit: oh yes, again... use me as the butt of as many jokes as you like]

I'm not a color expert and do not have calibrated monitors... but to me, it looks like 1, 3, 4, 7, and 8 are pretty good. 2 is maybe a bit too red, and 6 definitely looks blue which might have been the point, but her skin looks a little jaundiced. 5 is also okay, but could use some "pop".

My favorite shots are #1 and #8 (both at the beach?). I think the lighting/composition/poses are great. If I was her husband, I would like to have #2 sitting next to my desk all day. :D But if I was going to display it to a wider audience, might have closed the blouse. Did you try straightening it up (or even tilting it more)?

    Just my 2c.

Great Photos and I love the variety of your background and poses.
What is the contact information for the model?
    The color looks good IMO.
I think you two worked well together.
