Skink and Toad

I believe this first critter is called a "skink" that's what I've always heard them called anyway... if anyone knows the proper name for it let me know. The tree had a hard patch of light on it, but I didn't have much time to compose the shot as Mr. Skink was on the move.

The toad is for kdog :D (thanks for explaining the difference between frogs and toads)

Nice shots, Raian. The skink is cool; I've never seen one in the wild.

And a toad shot just for me? :encore

    Cheers,

    Thanks for the comments :):

I used my 18-55 for the toad. I don't have any macro lens... yet mwink.gif Someday I will as I do like to shoot close and get all those little details in the skin and structure of bugs and slithery things:D
