limit on move photos?

Is there a limit on the number of photos we can move from one gallery to another?

I am trying to move over 500 from one to another and after 137 photos the move page just spins and spins and doesn't move any more photos. I have done this twice now and have added only 274 photos after selecting 500+ the first time and almost 400 the second time. This is annoying.

Followup. This happened again. 137 photos moved and then no more. It appears that for some reason 137 is the max number of photos one can move at a time. Can someone confirm this?

No, not that I know of, or have experienced.
Please give us details, we always will need the details - system type, browser and version, the gallery link. If it's a bug, I'll need to confirm it.

Linux RH WS 4 (2.6.9-34.0.1.ELsmp),
FF 1.5.0.3 (Adblock Plus and Web Developer extensions)

I actually had the same problem recently... I originally uploaded my portfolio section into one "wedding" gallery then decided to catagorize it further. When ever I tried to move a large number of images at a time the page would just "spin" and eventually timeout with an IE "Page can not be displayed" message. Moving them in groups of 25 or so seemed to work best. I assumed it was just network issues between me and SM, but if someone else has the problem maybe not...

I was on WinXP SP2 w/ IE6 (6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519)
My original all-in-one gallery has since been deleted, but the catagorized galleries are all under http://photos.geibphotography.com/Portfolio. I think I was trying to do the moves most of Monday...

Dunno if that will help...

I could see this possibly being an issue if the browser times out. If it thinks it is no longer receiving data, and times out it could end the process. I will see if we can dig up anything more on this.

Same here, so I move 100 at a time

I've seen some problems with moving too. I haven't seen mine limit out to a certain number of photos, but it will take forever (over 5 minutes) before it comes back with the gallery display again. I don't recall ever having this problem before.
