I bought this card for my 30D last week from newegg.com. I thought my old Kingston 4gb 45x and Lexar 2gb 80x cards were fast, but this thing is the shiznit! I've tested this on my card readers and 30D, and I immediately noticed the speed difference with this card! Before, I could not tell the difference between the Kingston 45x and Lexar 80x...but this thing is FAST!

Last week, this item was priced at $190 when it was out of stock. I put an "auto notify" in my newegg.com account, and as soon as I got the email, I proceeded to buy it...during the credit card entry, the price changed to $194. I still went ahead with the transaction, cuz everyone else selling this is about $20 or so more. Now it's out of stock again but it's now $199.

Anyway, for those interested: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820183021

They also have other high speed / high capacity cards here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?N=2070170068+1053107923+105331385&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=68

I ahve the 4gb version, but i think mine might be a bit slower. still a great card and was around $90-$100.

CF is getting cheaper by the minute.
