Why in the world did you guys mess with the way you change the custom gallery settings? If anything they should have been made more compact and easier to read. Now it's not only MUCH less compact (therefore involving more scrolling), but somehow it's harder to read too.

    Hi Richard,
Some of the pages on the site were getting a bit olde and tired, and were in need of polish and shine. I felt the same way, too - my automatic reflexes to certain parts of the screen no longer worked - but give it a few tries, and you'll be back on that horse again in no time.

I think my biggest issue is that I'm on 15 inch 1024x768 monitors, so I see so little at a time.

    Marlinspike,

I wish I knew you needed a bigger monitor. I passed on 2 oportunities in the last week to get free 17 and 19 inch CRTs. I use flat screen but hey, they were free or only $10. I would have brought it down to you on one of my day trips.

Thanks for the thought Doc, but that would have to be on a daytrip UP now (back home in Bethesda...though working in DC). Or...that's probably what you meant since there is no part of VA from which one takes a daytrip to Davidson, NC.

Daytrip.. Figure of speach. My fiance and I are always looking for an excuse to travel.

Actually Davidson is not that far from here. Girls from the area occasionally make the trip down to the bridal shops near Lake Norman in a day. Granted, it is a leave real early and get back late trip.

I was going by your earlier posts, gallery, and such. You need to update your dgrin location :-)

Anyway, if you make it down 81 to 77, send me a message before you leave. I would be happy to show you around the Valley.

LCD's have not made it to the give away stage yet. My cousin called me and said that the bank she work at had dozens of the 19" CRT's for $10 each. I could find no takers.

If they start selling the LCD's I will let you guys know.

As for give aways, I got a goody from the one at work. I picked up a Dell Poweredge 4400 dual Pentium III 933mhz, 2 gig ram, 4 30g RAID and 2 18g OS - SERVER. Now I need to figure out a way to turn it into a desktop for processing photos :D

Also if anyone near Virginia needs server racks, let me know. Dad and I have accumulated 5 of various heights and sizes. I may put something in the trade section.
