    I'm quite sure most people don't appreciate the feeds showing up in Google like they currently do. Smugmug should deny the indexing of feeds as long as the technology is not there to show them in a meaningful way in a browser without add-ins.

    Nobody wants to click on a search result and end up with some cryptic XML on the screen. It's not exactly in line with the gorgeus galleries that Smugmug has.

    Well I hope soon that smarter browsers will take over!

    If you want to be found, by friends and admirers, then why turn feeds off - but if you wish to, it's dead simple, http://www.smugmug.com/help/custom-colors

    #feeds {display: none;}

    Does this actually turn them off so google, etc. can't find them and "subscribers" won't see anything or does it just set it so browsers don't display the link?

    Only so the browser won't display the link.
    Feeds will be found for any public galleries and photos.
