    I know
The old bag nearly ruined the UK in the 80's/90's.

    Cheers,

I work with a bunch of knuckleheads who insist that she was the best PM since Churchill.

    Well.....
She has been the strongest leader since Churchill, BUT,
and here's the but she was also painfully wrong about
most things she put her twisted mind to. She got us (UK) into
all sorts of trouble. Growing up in Britain in the 80's was no
fun at all because of that women.

Sorry for the rant, The scares no nearly gone now.

Thanks, as always, for looking cletus.

    Dan.

Condolences re: John Peel. The music world on BBC will not be the same.

John Peel 'brought' music to the people, rather than cramming it down their throats American-style. We Yanks don't really have a Peel, a national broadcaster that didn't rot and mould like Dick Clark, Casey Kasem and their ilk. Probably has something to do with our radio stations having been commercial-driven, and now bought up by conglomerates that exist to feed the RIAA's starmaking machine (sorry, Joni). The BBC's not perfect but methinks it's better than anything we have over here, including NPR. (Altho I guess David Dye should get some credit).

Am I off-base? Thanks for letting me rant on something non-photo! :hang

    yep
Tony is making a mess of things...but not even
in the same ballpark as maggie. She was just plain evil.
    IMHO.
