The first shot s a bit OOF. The second one I like, although you could lighten it up some, it looks dark. I saw a couple of these the other day but couldn't get anywhere near them. Seen any Cedar Waxwings lately?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

No waxwings! They are up north picking berries, I think. :D

I like the second the most. You're always lucky with bird. Tell me your secret.

    Thanks for sharing,

Actually, watching their habits without the camera (a cold beer helps) at the times of day when the light is in your favor will give you ideas.

    Thanks, Dick. :D

    Tough to capture, ayy?

Try standing outside with your mouth wide open and full of niger thistle seeds.

You should get better "capture" that way! :lol

    Hi Ric,

Nice captures here. The first one is a bit soft, but that second image is a great shot! Good work... Love the setting on the second one.
