A nice conjuntion this AM in DC

Shot this this morning around 6:35AM, it shows the moon, Jupiter (the bright object just below the moon) and Venus (the other brightest object below and to the left of Jupiter) in the constellation Virgo. Just to the left of Jupiter is the star Porrima, magnatude 2.9, then farther to the left and bit above the reddish star is Delta Virginis, mag. 3.7. Above and to the right of the Moon is the star Zanith, mag. 4.0. Couldn't locate the other stars seen in this pic. Shot at ASA 100, F3.2, 1" exposure.
Tomorrow they will be joined by Mars, look east low in the horizon starting around 6AM mars will be lowest then the star Spica a little to the right and up, then the moon, above which will be Venus and Jupiter, Venus will be the brighter of the two and will be between the Moon and Jupiter. try a few shots (photographic, not Whiskey
) while enjoying the view, THEN go in and take care of the other shot! :thumb
P.S. weatherunderground has a nice star chart that u can use under the Astronomy heading.
