    Yeah, yeah, yeah.

    That's all very well.

But how about the really important questions?

    What's my ISO?
    What's my shutter speed?
    What's my aperture?
    What's my focal length?
    Is autofocus on or off?
    What's my autofocus mode?
    What's my metering mode?
What does my meter tell me?
    Where's my lens cap?

Someone want to come up with an acronym or rhyme that captures all of this? lol3.gif
    Sid.

I'd call you a troublemaker, but how many times do I wish that I had asked myself that ISO question before shooting? Ugh, too many to count.

lol3.gif I've been trying to come up with some memorable mnemonic that captures ISO, shutter, aperture, focus mode and exposure mode.

Same here... However, the list seems to be getting too long. Start checking everything, and you lose the moment (or your model get bored) :D

    Nope:D

Back when real MEN shot film in cameras without a light meter, and with a rangefinder, thinking "ASA, shutter speed, focus, compose" was second nature. We didn't have no steenking light meters or steenking autofocusers.

We didn't shoot birds in flight very often eitherthumb.gifne_nau.gif

"SNAFU" is what I usually use to describe my typical setup procedure. (... or "FUBAR" when I see the results.):):

Too many questions to answer - I just want to get a multi-mega-dega-megapixel camera and crop...:D

But then I have the startling question after I press the shutter..."Did I just take another crooked picture again!?!" headscratch.gif
