    Last night I was watching the GP on TV and thought that it would have been great to be there with my camera. :):
    Great shots, you were mostly around the corkscrew right?
    Congrats. :):
    Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
    That saved a wretch like me!
    I once was lost, but now am found;

    Great work!! Very sharp stuff. What lens did you use?

    I'll bet you were jazzed when Nicky stoped half way down the hill to celebrate!thumb.gif

    Looks like a 300 with 1.4x.

    Thanks guys!

    Heat: OH man it was wicked. Pretty wild drinking water quite literally bottle after bottle, one right after the other

    Lens: Gold star for you man! 300 IS L 2.8 w/1.4xTC

    Nicky: Yeah I was stoked for that, even more stoked when the 3 other photogs on my left and right were barking at the corner workers "Get out of the way, I can't get a shot!!!" Turns out none of the guys ended up with that Nicky shot of him without his helmet and fist pumping.

    What a race! I can't wait to see the tv coverage!

    Awesome shots! I particularly love the third shot of Nicky. That's great that you got the celebration shot.

    There's a great shot of Nicky coming down the course helmet off and
    carrying a flag. AP guy shot it--but yours is much better because it's
    got the emotion and the jube. Nice work!

    Very nice work. The last shot of Nicky is the best of the bunch so far. Nice use of the background.
