As always, I am facinated by the "painted" billboards that seem to pop up every now and then. Although they have been there forever, sometimes they seem "new", or new ones are found.
Found this one while walking up Fourth Ave. toward Smithfield St. facing south.

Fine, fine building. You seem to have the same problem I had with my minolta. On grey skies, it gave a halo around the building, no matter how I metered. If I metered on the sky, the building was totally underlighted, and if I metered on the building, the sky was way overexposed with the mentioned halo effect. It used to drive me nuts. It seems that your camera is sabotaging your shots.
Love those letter ads on old buildings. I like your way of looking at buildings. It is often the details that make the picture.
