I count 7 - all on the lily pads closest to the water, none in the water. And some do look like leopards to me (from what I can tell in this pix - got any close upsmwink.gif)

    Oh, BTW, nice glads too.

I like the last pic the most. The first 2 I find too tight cropped for my taste.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Hello,

Not sure about the composition on the gladiolas, but that sure is some sweet light falling on them. Exposure is perfect.

Wish my pond had that many frogs!

The crop could use a little work on the glads I guess... it was late and it looks like I skewered the first one a bit. Oh well... I had a few shots out a bit, but the close ups seemed more intimate to me. To each his own.

What is interesting with our frog pond is the leopards leave around 7:00PM to go hunting, and come back in the morning. I have watched them as all of a sudden they all decide to get up and leave! We have had a lot of rain recently so they haven't really wanted to hang around the pond but go hunting instead. They are all over the fields and lawn though, which makes me happy since I worry for our little frog friends.

The green frogs like to hang around, and get quite excited when I throw in a handful of japenese beetles that I have picked off of the grapes and other plants. They squeek and squack and trample each other to get at them. Quite fun! Sure beats pesticides.

Been dying to drop the buck and get a 1+ acre pond dug, but we are a bit low on $$$ right now.

As far as the glad crop goes, this one backs off a bit, but just didn't do it for ME, just wondering if it does it better than the other two for anyone else?
