    does this come with a low price guarantee rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif The other thread was just too much --anyway I picked up a lap top from Troy for Hunter and when it went south and stopped working Troy called apple and me [he is in NY me in LA ]to get them on the apple warranty that they did not want to do and now Hunter has a new laptop or almost .So that might be a reason for helping each other --and I love to bit-- but there was nothing to say but thanksthumb.gif

    An important point here, which might be lost on all but DGrin "regulars", is that "Troy" = Windoze. jwear was saying that Windoze went waaaaay out of his way to help him with a warranty-coverage issue, after the sale. Yet another sterling (if not golden) recommendation for Windoze ...


    Too bad this deal didn't pop up before I bought my 24-105 several months ago -- I would have jumped on it. (can't believe it's not "sold" yet!)

    I've been looking at this lens for its reliable IS and flexible range for an upcoming Autism Camp shoot this month.

    What's the date code on this version, Troy? Is it dated before or after the early flare problems?

    here is the date code - im not sure what it means..

    date code = UU0404
