I have two customers who each claimed they placed two separate orders, days apart.
I only see one order for each person.

These are the orders I see. These ladies are some of our local librarians, so they are no all together computer illiterate. Something is strange somewhere.

You must have had no pricing on the photos when the customer ordered, because these are at retail pricing, and therefore the order won't show in your orders reporting in your control panel.

So much to learn on this. I haven't even had time to customize the page at all. People are beating my door down to buy pictures.

Set your portfolio pricing to be .01 (1 cent) profit. At least that way, if you ever have an item that you missed setting your "real" prices for, you'll see it sell AND you'll be able to track all orders. Gallery pricing trumps portfolio. (and individual image trumps gallery)...
Now I never worry about whether I'm seeing all sales AND I can quickly see if there's been an error in my pricing setup...

You could of course set your portfolio pricing to be something a little bit more along the lines of your minimum base prices (which probably isn't just $.01 higher than cost). That way you can track orders and still make a bit of profit even if you did forget to set pricing for a gallery.
