Deal: Amazon has Canon 5D for $2907...

... with free shipping. This is a little better than B&H at the moment. The great deals that were floating around just when I tried to sell my second 5D body don't seem to be there now. I know someone who wants a new one and needs a deal. Anybody got a line on a better deal?

    With the Rebate having expired, does anyone have an educated guess on when (or if) Canon can be expected to reduce the price?

    I'm on the market for a 5D also (see yesterday's post offering my 1D MkII for sale).

    the 5d was on sale at DELL for around $2600 a short time ago.... gotta act fast though on those DELL Deals....

    type in PSaug06 in B&H seach box and find Canon. the 5D should be on there for a fairly reasonable pricethumb.gif

    heh, my bad. if i were you guys though i'd just wait till Canon comes out with their fall rebates, and you should hope that its the triple rebate idea again because then you'd be able to get it from B&H for 2700ish and under depending on what else you bought with it.thumb.gif

    For the 1st time (in my experience) you can actually buy a camera cheaper in the UK than in the USA

    Warehouse Express has the 5D for £1599 (including the cashback) :jawdrop

    According to Google, that's about $3043 USD.
