Proper custom hostname

I've a proaccount and am successfully using a cname at my godaddy registered domain to point to the proaccount.

But right now it only works with www.mysite.com.

How do I set it up so either www.mysite.com or http://mysite.com from the browser will work?

A second question is:

Can I now have multiple domains pointing to the smugmug account? I see some talk of linking one to the other, to the other which now(?) works but the help file still says 'Dont!'?

And a final third question:
If a forwarding is setup which conflicts with a cname, who wins? (A rather hypothectical question right now)

Thanks in advance.

you can use an A record on godaddy, with the A record going to our IP address: http://www.smugmug.com/help/professional-accounts

the 2nd customname would have to be forwarded to your primary name, the one that is CNAME aliased to SmugMug

I don't know the answer to this, I'm sorry. I'll try and find out.

If I setup the A name, can I leave the custom host setting in smugmug alone? Or what should that be?

Required is the CNAME Alias to www.smugmug.com
optional, on top of that, is an A record to our IP address. So yeah, leave the CNAME alone :D
