Hi all,
Have a story to tell you.
I went to a camera swap meet Saturday,what a wierd day it was.
I went looking for light stands and maybe some flashes.
No dealer had any,so I strolled over to a guy I have dealt with before.
Lots of Canon lenses and a few new and used cams.
My eye had spotted a beauty. A brand new 1D MKll.How I have wanted one.
I ask the price and said may I fondle it.Big mistake!
We had a chat about other things and I walked away.I returned later and ask,what kind of trade would he be willing to do for a 20D,grip,2 batteries and the kit lens.Not what I thought,but not bad.He asked if I had the box etc.I told him it was at my GF house.More chit chat and walked away.I had my GF with me and back to her house we went.I thought what the**** and located the box.Back to the meet we went.3:15pm and they closed @ 4:00
Yes I did it.
I had a 50th birthday party of a close friend that I have known since the 4th graded to be at 7:30.
I was asked by his wife to take pictures,oh no I just switched cams and only a couple of hours to read manual charge batteries.I thought maybe Ill just use my F717.
Hope I didnt bore you :1drink
Anyway, here are a few shots I got with a 50mm f1.8 hand held.ISO between 800-1000

I really liked the shots, since I dig concert photography quite a bit.
Also, I'm pretty glad you got the 1D-II, it's one excellent, fast, bulky cam!
