Messerschmitt automobile, that is. It's sooo cute. I did not get the gentleman's name yet, but he has my card.

    Nik,

The passenger sits behind the "pilot". It was a very practical road car in postwar Germany, and many were sold there.

You can tell the front wheels are so tiny that even small potholes/bumps are felt, and a big pothole could tear up the front end. I don't think Illinois is a very safe place for these cars. :D

That's great, Ziggy! Cool picture. From what I remember, 3-wheelers are legal, but you need a motorcycle license to drive them.

Here's the rest of the set. Considerable PS work to remove unwanted background and distracting elements. One composited image, where the best angle could only be achieved with two images. Guess which one?

Dang, you're good! I had to patch just a bit at the tail-end because a wider angle at that position had too much angular distortion. I was already on tip-toes to get the height I wanted.

This car was sooo cute, I spent quite a while just staring at it.

Ever see a '37 Morgan? It's a three-wheeler like that Messerschmidt but the transverse-mounted v-twin engine is exposed and in the front.

    Kinda different!
