I can't seem to reach my site

mpmcleod.smugmug.com

even the main site (www.smugmug.com) is slow but it works eventually.

Dgrin is very peppy but my SM is not reachable...

could someone point me to the SM speed tool again?
We just moved from Vancouver, BC to Houston, TX.

    Same here!
This evening, sometimes my pages appear very very fast... but most of the times very very slow (more than a minute) or show up without any customization (no CSS files are loaded) or other issues due to slow connection.

-It is very inconsistent... sometimes very fast, sometimes normal, a lot of time very very slow.
-The problem seems to be worst when viewing one's galleries (homepages, sub-category-pages are working not too badly).
-When going to gallery-page, sometimes i'm being bumped to www.smugmug.com .
I can't grasp the notion of time.

Yeah, pretty untimely (not like any outtage is embraced with open arms). I have 400ish photos from a tournament on Saturday to get online before interest dies. Sigh. Hopefully it won't last long, or so long sales, and I'll have to wait til next month to try again. Here's to hoping.

That's why the problems with the site being slow, stats being down, uploads taking forever is getting frustrating. I wish they could figure this stuff out, especiallly since we pay for the service. I'm just glad I don't have clients or sales to worry about. I just use it for my hobby.

I can't live with this much longer. All day I've tried to get an album created and photos moved. I'm having terrible speed issues from work on a T3 and from home on DSL.

I'm going to be doing my future weddings on Collages.Net and figure out what I'm going to do from there. Smugmug is a very nice site at times but latley there's been a greater percentage of the time with problem.

I'm feeling more like a beta tester here at smugmug. :cry

I do have clients and sales to worry about and this isn't good!

    Sorry guys! Blame Andy? mwink.gif

Seriously though, we're going to take an emergency downtime tonight and things will look better in the morning. We know how frustrating it can be to have site-slowdown and we feel your pain. I promise. Thanks for taking the time to let us know how you feel.
