    Hi
Had a look at your journal, can't answer the question about firework displays but I'm sure something will be organized, personal fireworks AFAIK are banned sparklers should be OK. Enjoy the holiday

    Thanks about the food advice!
Any special attraction which we should not miss. Often such places are not on tourist guides which focus on high value popular destinations missing out the true colors.

Also any street shopping area. Me and my wife prefer roadside shopping to showrooms even in India, so Singapore will not be different :)

Nothing in particular but doing the tourist thing.
I have found that the days of great cheap shopping in singas are long gone (i 1st went there in '83 with the military). Way too westernised in the city to be any special new experience ..for me anyway. I just shop & eat.

I have never found it that hot but it does get quite humid. Friendly people though.

    Singapore Photo Ops
I was there quite a while ago, but there are several opportunities
    1. The streets including Chinatown
    2. The Zoo
    3. Take a tour to Malaysia and they let you off at the market among other places.
