A recent summer vacation to the east side of Canada was a great image capture experience for me. Quebec and anywhere in the Maritime Provinces I visited, like New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia.
Everywhere I looked were wonderful, colourful images to grab. My somewhat limited skill sets in photography were my only regret!

Welcome to Dgrin! Very nice gallery and you are right about it being a colorful place to visit! You will get more people to view your shots if you post one here in this thread and then they will be more enticed to view your gallery. If you need help posting, you can follow the thread below or go up to the toolbar and click on the "How To" header....lots of great info there.

Love the second shot of the Chateau Frontenac, nice to see a different perspective!! When I saw the pictures of the wall, I knew one of the Chateau would soon follow, you just can't go without taking a picture(s) It's actually the most photographed building in the world...and it's easy to see why!:D

I just knew the lady was going to look like a Victorian Impressionist painting the moment I looked into the view finder! I was very afraid I'd screw it up. I did, but managed to salvage it well enough. I like to think of it as "ART Imitating Art". You are the first to notice and comment on the painting similarities. Thank you.

Actually it was your post of New Brunswick and Peggy's Cove that I was perusing which inspired me to toss in my humble East Coast image collection. I figured that there wasn't enough Canuck representation in Location, Location!
Peggy's Cove is not an easy place to shoot, IMHO. I was last there 7 years ago with a 35 film and limited lenses. Once the tourist buses arrive .......... forget it!
You did a great job, especially with the pano's.

The Château Frontenac was tough for me to shoot and get a decent pic. It's back lit by the South and the West. I had dozens of shots including on the St.Lawrence River Ferry to Levis and I only salvaged two. The small one in the trees that you like was taken while leaving the Citadel and was envisioned well over twenty some years ago, but I didn't take the shot until this year! That was a long time to hang onto a visual in the minds-eye!!! Glad to finally have let it go.
