First Post and first attempt at concert photography.

Not sure if this is the right catagory to post. I didn't see a performing arts section.

    concert photos
    hi i think the comp's. are great :D the focus point on # 1 3 and 4 need some work focus on the eyes and you'll never go rong thumb.gif i like the b&w to! rockin shots bowdown.gif good shots on ya! rick.

    I particularly like the composition in shot 1. It does the best job of communicating the energy of the show.

    Awesome shots. I also like 1 best, even though 2 is a great catch as well IMHO.

    I also tried my first gig shots last week, but I had some company I couldn't just desert at the table, so most of them came out with heads and necks at the bottom :) I'm really looking forward to give it another go!

    I was going for the alternative focus creative look. a sharp photo would have given the image a different feel.

    I was also looking for the soft color on the last one as well. I worked it to get that effect.
