print size question

Without using RAW, what is the largest size print you can get from a Rebel XT.
It seems to me that the largest is about 8x11 at a resolution of 300.
I thought I could print at least an 11x13 and possibly a 20x24 with 8megapixels.
Can someone help me?

The great megapixel myth continues.

From a quality file, you can print 60 FEET wide if you wanted to.

You can safely order and print 20"x30" from your Rebel XT files. If you have one to share, I'll be happy to give you my opinion on it.

One last question on this subject. In order to print a 20x24 do I need to up the resolution from 72 at all or am I best off just leaving it alone at 72?
