Changing print color default to true rather than auto

Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to change the default printing options so that "true" color is the default rather than "auto" color. Is this possible for pro level smugmug accounts? I ask because I own the i2e Photoshop plug-in filter and prefer to run my images through it myself; to print through smugmug with the default settings would therefore result in filtering the image through i2e twice, often with unwelcome effects. I know users can select true color on their own and batch apply it, but it's rather a nuisance to have to explain how to do this, so I'm hoping there is a way to change the setting to default to true color.

    As a pro, you can default your galleries to True Color. It's in gallery customization. Gallery Tools>Customize Gallery.

    BTW set your galleries for PROOF DELAY, and you can check on the color choice made by your client and change as needed :D

    Thanks, Andy, that's good to know. One more quick question: if an image is printed with the true color option, will sharpening still be applied to it? If so, is the sharpening applied after resizing?

    Just wondering if I need to do this sort of thing myself, or if smugmug takes care of it automatically once I upload an original size, unsharpened file--even if "auto" color isn't chosen.

    No. Nothing is done to your file if True Color is chosen.
